Cottages
Our outstandingly clean and spacious 2 and 3 bedroom cottages with cathedral ceilings are all facing south and overlooking pristine Doe Lake. They are carpeted and fully equipped for housekeeping with kitchen range, fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans. A roomy 3 or 4 piece bathroom adds to your personal well-being. Each cottage has its own lawn area with a picnic table, a gas BBQ (propane provided) and an outdoor clothes line to dry the clothes.
Whether you are cuddling up in front of the wood burning stove or are sitting at the dining table, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Doe Lake out the large windows in each cottage.
Cottage #7 - Beach
There are fire pits in front of every cottage with the exception of cottage #8 due to an abundance of shrubbery. But with friendly neighbours, it’s not so bad to double up. Cottages #9 and #10 each have their own outdoor fireplace. You can bring your own firewood, or purchase some for $3.00 per milk carton full.
There are two sets of playgrounds between the main house and cottage #9 for children to explore. Beside the creek, there is a large, man-made sand pit perfect for badminton or volleyball tournaments, or for playing a friendly game of soccer, ultimate Frisbee or even bocce ball.
What does Housekeeping Cottages mean ?
The basic infrastructure is provided, including pillows, blankets, kitchen linens and coffee filters.
Guests
are encouraged to bring their own private items such as:
Linens or sleeping bags, towels, personal toiletries, toilet paper, dishwashing
liquid, garbage bags and lawn chairs.
For travelers from Overseas we happily provide all those items without extra cost.

Doeview by Air
The entire resort property stretches over 86 acres and is mainly made of forest with some dense hiking trails that lead to beautiful little waterfalls with billabong's and streams where speckle trout breed and hatch. Frogs, speckle trout and sunfish inhabit our own pond. If you dare to venture into the bush you will find an abandoned but large beaver dam and many other signs of wild life.
Our place is conveniently close and central to most major towns with their amenities and tourist attractions such as Burk's Falls, Huntsville, Kearney, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Parry Sound, Georgian Bay, Sundridge, Magnetawan, North Bay, Algonquin Park, Arrowhead Park, Seguin Trail, Forgotten Trails, many golf courses, mini golf, restaurants, cinemas and shopping malls.
